  3. 1/2 cup Rice flour
  4. 1 cup Curd
  5. as per taste Salt
  6. 1/2 tsp Sugar
  7. 1 Finely chopped onion
  8. 2 Finely chopped chilles
  9. 1 tablespoon Finely chopped coriander leaves
  10. as needed Water
  11. 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  12. as per required Melted ghee or regular cooking oil to pour. (1 tsp per dosa)
  13. As required Chutney to serve
  14. as per required Milagai podi to serve

Steps to make to make Aloo Suji Dosa

  1. First, mix suji, rice flour, potatoes, curd in a blender jar. Add water as needed and blend for 30 seconds to make a silky, creamy, pouring consistency batter. Blend again for 30 seconds.
  2. Then pour in a bowl. Add soda, salt, and sugar. Whisk well. Add chopped onion, chilies, and coriander leaves if needed. It is optional. I made it without the veggies as per demand! Keep the batter covered for 10 minutes to ferment.
  3. Then heat a tawa. Season with oil and wipe it well. Then sprinkle some saltwater and wipe well. Then pour batter on skillet or tawa.
  4. Avoid spreading with force as the dosa will break. Cook on high flame till crisp. Pour melted ghee or oil on the sides.
  5. Then turn and cook for a minute. Spread chutney or podi on top.
  6. Serve hot with chutney,(recipe enclosed) Sambar, or just plain. It tastes delicious!😋
