  18. 2 tablespoon tomato puree
  19. 2 teaspoon biryani masala
  20. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  21. 1 teaspoon kashmiri lal mirch powder
  22. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  23. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  24. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  25. 1 lemon juice
  26. To taste salt

Instructions to make to make Dum Biryani

  1. Heat a heavy bottom pan with 1 table spoon oil. Add sliced onion and fry with salt turmeric powder till it become golden brown and keep aside.
  2. Marinate the chicken with mixing all the marinate ingredient including fried onion 1 table spoon oil also. and keep in refrigerator for minimun one hour.
  3. In a same pan add 1 table spoon oil. Add one part of whole garam masala and let it splutter. Add marinated chicken and cook for 5 -10 min on high flame.
  4. Take another pan with water and let it boil. Add 1/2 hour soaked basmati rice salt, few drops of oil and rest part of whole garam masala. Cook for 5 min and drain it.
  5. Now add the rice as a layer over the chicken. Add ghee and rest part of fried onion milk soaked safron and cover the pan with dough. Cook for 30 min on a medium flame.
  6. Dum biryani is ready garnish with splitted green chilli and boiled egg.
